Stress / Insomnia

Insomnia and tension have more to do with our hormones than we often think. The Aviva Method not only balances sex hormones, but also regulates the production of stress hormones such as cortisol and adrenaline in the adrenal cortex.  Ideally, our cortisol levels are high in the morning and low in the evening, so that we can get out of bed more easily in the morning and fall asleep easily in the evening. A constant release of stress hormones robs the body of building blocks for other hormones, especially progesterone. This is why cycle irregularities or reduced fertility are often related to chronic stress.

In an Aviva workshop, we not only learn the 18 basic exercises of the method, but also talk about how our lifestyle and diet can positively influence our hormonal system and protect us from burnout.
